Trish Turner has been working at the Internal Revenue Service for over 20 years, previously serving as a senior advisor in the Office of Digital Assets. Seth Wilks and Raj Mukherjee, two key project leaders of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), resigned last Friday, accepting the government's proposed "DOGE Extended Resignation Plan". The two previously came from the cryptocurrency industry and joined the IRS in 2024 to develop cryptocurrency tax policies and lead the development of the new 1099-DA tax form.
