Since the beginning of this year, the 2x long VIX futures ETF has attracted approximately $130 million in inflows, making it one of the most popular U.S. stock ETFs among South Korean investors. Data shows that the fund ranked seventh in purchase volume in July, accounting for about one-fifth of global inflows. As U.S. stock valuations approach historical highs and market sell-off concerns intensify, South Korean retail investors are adjusting their investment strategies.
