US court rejects Sun Yuchen's request to block Bloomberg from disclosing its over $3 billion cryptocurrency portfolio According to Cryptonews, on September 22nd, Judge Colm Connolly of the Delaware Federal District Court ruled in favor of Sun Yuchen's lawsuit against Bloomberg. Previously, Sun Yuchen submitted a second motion seeking a temporary restraining order to prohibit Bloomberg from disclosing its specific cryptocurrency holdings. The judge ruled that Sun Yuchen failed to prove that Bloomberg agreed not to disclose details of his assets, and he must provide clear and convincing evidence to prove that Bloomberg had made relevant commitments. According to court documents, Sun Yuchen holds 60 billion TRX, 17000 BTC, 224000 ETH, and 700 million USDT. In February of this year, Bloomberg contacted Sun Yuchen's team to compile a billionaire index. After the article was published, he sued and withdrew the lawsuit. After the negotiation failed, on September 11th, Sun Yuchen submitted another motion requesting Bloomberg to delete the relevant content. He claimed that the journalist promised confidentiality, but Bloomberg denied it. The judge also believes that Sun Yuchen failed to prove that disclosing information would make him more vulnerable to infringement, and that the Bitcoin information he disclosed was more specific.
