NFT Collector Punk6529: NFT is Network Art, Not Digital Art

Odaily Planet Daily News: Renowned NFT collector Punk6529 posted on X platform stating that NFTs are online art, not digital art. It indicates that in the past, NFT was often regarded as a branch of digital art, similar to computer-generated (broadly defined) or computer-based art such as algorithms, generative, graphical, interactive, or immersive art. NFT can be made by computer or without computer, but they definitely do not exist on the computer, but on the Internet. Its explanation is that NFTs are similar to BTC, where when a user "owns" a cryptopunk, they actually have the password to move the specific cryptopunk to another location in the network. The owner cannot delete it from the network or lock it in a safe. Meanwhile, compared to traditional art which is divided into two categories (non digital) art and digital art (including NFTs), it believes that the new classification should be (non digital) art, digital art, and NFTs.
