[StakeWise DAO Recovers Approximately $20.7 Million in Assets and Will Return Them to Affected Users] Ethereum liquid staking protocol StakeWise DAO recovered approximately 5,041 osETH (around $19 million) and 13,495 osGNO (around $1.7 million) early this morning through an emergency multi-signature transaction from the Balancer attacker. These represent 73.5% of the stolen osETH and the entirety of the stolen osGNO. The recovered funds will be returned to users affected by the Balancer V2 vulnerability and distributed proportionally based on their balances prior to the exploit. Previously, multiple projects based on Balancer suffered complex attacks, resulting in losses exceeding $120 million.
