What is BBX?
With a BBX subscriber account you have access to the leading edge communications and advertising power of the Internet embodied in Classified Ads,
Wanted Ads and a directory listing of Member Goods and Services. Its a forum for listing, viewing and interacting on barter/trade opportunities of
real and personal property. BBX positions you to take advantage of the axiom
"somewhere, someone has what you want or
need and is willing to trade for it!"
We make it happen for you by putting you in touch with traders throughout the world or right in your local community. With the world wide web now
available in the furthest reaches of the globe, BBX's, new "user friendly" service places you on the leading edge, as a professional or as a novice,
right from the convenience of your home or office. BBX puts the world of barter right at the tip of your fingers!
How much does it cost?
Basic BBXchange service for just "Looking Around" is FREE, for our 30 day, DEMO User Account. Regular Member
accounts that offer buying and selling by listings and interaction with other members cost just $19.95 per month. This fee will appear ridiculously
low to people used to paying higher fees. We know it's cheap, but keeping the service inexpensive will encourage thousands of traders to subscribe
and expand your trading opportunities.
How do I get my own Demo User account ?
From the navigation bar on any page you view, click on the Registration link. This will take you to the basic account registration
form. Fill out the form completely, " PLEASE NOTE - all applications are checked for accuracy and DNS IP location." If your
place incorrect information in your file or falsify your location - Your account will be deleted from the system.
How do I purchase Classified Items or Member Services?
BBXchange offers a "Try Before You Buy" type starter account, or the Free Demo User account which provides users with
a preview of how the system works. After trying the FREE Demo User account you must upgrade to a Regular or Annually Paid
member. Your qualified Classified Ad activates any line of credit issued with your registration. If you have"0" balance
in your account, you must make a sale to a member that has a positive TCredit balance, therefore it stands to reason that any ad you place
must have an attraction and value that will attract buyers right away.
Which E-currencies do you accept for fees payment?
We accept Credit Cards, PayPal, SecurePay and STP at present.
How long from sales payment to posted on my account?
Your account will reflect a "HOLD" amount posted during the transaction and your account will be updated with the sales amount debit
or credit once the buyer checks the completed transaction on his sales ticket. If the buyer does NOT have insufficient TCredits to cover the
amount of the purchase, NO sales ticket will be generated.
How can I change my e-mail address or password?
To change your password log into your BBXchange account and click on the "Member Back Office". You can change your password there by
following the verification procedure. Since your e-mail address is also your unique account control ID, you must use the "Contact Us"
form to request this action from the system administrator.
What if I forgot my password?
Click on the forgot password link on the "LogIn" screen, type your username or e-mail and you'll receive your login ID and password
information in an e-mail.
May I open several accounts in your program?
No. If we find that one member has more that one account, all accounts and TCredits will be frozen.
Can I spend any other Trade or Barter currencies besides BBXchange TCredits?
Yes, BBXchange is part of a Universal Barter system with over 40000 business members from throughout the world. Our association will allow
members to buy and sell using their International Barter Alliance Currency as well as their BBXchange TCredits.
What are the benefits of my using BBX?
Simply put, BBX gives you an edge up on your competition. You're not restricted to waiting for someone to come to you with an opportunity. With
BBX you create your own opportunities with a "Classified Listing" or "Wanted Ad" posted on the service. You may want to do it the
easy way by selectively searching the ads database and finding the item meeting your need then clicking on the "BuyNow" to make the purchase,
or use the "Notify Me" option. Communications with the seller via confidential e-mail and make shipping or delivery arrangements.
What do I need to use BBX Service?
All you need is access to a computer, Web browser (preferably Internet Explorer), and an Internet connection. Before using BBX you have to register
and create a User Name (User ID) and the Password you will be using. You may use a handle as your User ID like "Trader Bob". The system will
change it to "Traderbob" or you may just want to use your first name "Jason". You also must enter the E-mail address where your
approved ID's will be sent to once registration is approved. Your ID's are used in all contacts you make as a buyer or seller and sent to that e-mail address.
How secure is my data?
Your account is protected with a login name and a password. Your database member information is kept on our secure server the same location as the
ads and not available to the public. All data is absolutely private to the subscriber and will not under any circumstance, be traded or given to
any other party.
What information about my ads are stored on BBX Computers?
Your ads, are stored in a separate database from the user information. Ads are stored there until sold and then moved to secure database until
no longer required for accounting or tracking then deleted from the system.
What browser types work with the BBX service?
BBX is designed to run with most popular web browsers. It is fully compatible with Internet Explorer 5 + and later versions. With some
limitations it works also with Mozilla Firefox.
How do I post an ad?
From the main page, click on the "Create Ad" link. and login to your personal control panel. You will then be taken to the "Post a Classified
Ad" page. Here, you will see a form with many fields. When you have filled out the form, click on the "Upload Photo" link. You should then
see an acknowledgement page if your ad was successfully posted. You will also be given an ad number. Your ads can be maintained from your control
paned for editing and when you delete your ad.
